Jesus shows us what it looks like to be fully human and reveals the Father to us. This was clearly seen in how Jesus modeled love, creativity, justice, and peace. As a Jesus-centered community, our desire is to become like Jesus in our everyday lives. We want our lives to be full of His love, expressed by His creativity, and empowered to bring His justice through His ways of peace.
LOVE
Love is a relational word. God is a relationship of love between the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It is our passion and desire to experience this Divine community of love, and be transformed by it. From being loved we want to become love. We want to love God faithfully, ourselves correctly, and others compassionately.
CREATIVITY
Creativity is our inheritance. We were made in the image and likeness of the Creator. Being creative is in our DNA. We are a part of a mysterious and beautiful story of love and redemption. Our world is not going to be saved through great force or by a better argument. The hope for our world is in the beautifully good news of Jesus. Beauty will save the world, and we endeavor to use every creative avenue to put the beauty of Jesus on display.
JUSTICE
We believe that justice is the restoration of every violation of love and “setting the world right again” is what Jesus came to do. As a community, we are committed to allowing the things that break God’s heart to break our hearts. We will do this by seeking God about the injustices of our day and courageously taking action to bring hope and healing.
PEACE
As citizens and ambassadors of a kingdom of peace, we are committed to seeing the increase of peace on the earth. We are called to be peacemakers and reconcilers; architects of peace and hope! In a divided and polarized world of “Us” vs “Them” rhetoric, we are called to follow Jesus in a third way of love that destroys dividing walls of hostility and calls people to a shared table of brotherhood.

The Great Commission: GO
Matt. 28:19-20: Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
The Great Commandment: LOVE
Mark 12:30-31: Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
The Great Collaboration: TOGETHER
John 17:22-23: “…that they may be one as we are one— I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me...”

What do I love about Jesus?
I love Jesus because he is a friend that is always there. Always. Even when I don't feel him he is always faithful to be near me. He is constant in the good and bad, the ups and downs, and the highs and lows.

Definitely coffee!

It's so hard to decide between the lush warm days of summer or the colorful and crisp fall. Sorry I can't pick a favorite!

I love that Jesus graciously, patiently, lovingly, constantly reminds me that there is a different and better way to do life. He gives the strength and passion and perspective to pursue His way of life.

I love spring because of the freshness and newness of everything. Days get longer; plants get greener. I spend more time being active outside.

What do I love about Jesus?
I'm a very simple, uncomplicated person and I love that Jesus gave us a very simple and uncomplicated way to follow him! I'm to love God, myself and others in the same way that Jesus love me, and Jesus loves big!

I prefer tea!
Favorite season?
I love summertime when I can be outside from morning until night. And I love to entertain on my deck at night.

We tend to forget that Jesus chose meditation. Choosing to remember this has profoundly changed my life.

I prefer tea for its creativity. Sure House makes a killer London Fog with lavender syrup.

I look forward to late summer when nature is leaning towards harvest season yet maintains full foliage.
